Practice Administrator
Charles J. Marino, DC is the Practice Administrator for Advanced Health and Injury Care and a Licensed Chiropractor. As Practice Administrator, Dr. Marino directs daily operations of our offices and staff. As a chiropractor, Dr. Marino provides our patients with compassionate care and his undivided attention. In addition to his clinical duties, Dr. Marino serves as a Major in the New York Guard, and Chief of Physical Medicine for the 244th Medical Clinic at Camp Smith Army National Guard Base in Cortlandt Manor, New York.
Dr. Marino earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at New York Chiropractic College. He completed his Post Graduate Studies in Rehabilitation at Southern California University of Health Sciences.
Dr. Marino is a Member of the American Chiropractic Association, New York State Chiropractic Association, American Chiropractic Association Council on Chiropractic Physiological Therapeutics and Rehabilitation, American College of Rehabilitation Science, Association of Military Surgeons of the United States, and International Society of Police Surgeons.

Gus Sofos, DC is the Clinical Director of our Carmel, NY location and a Licensed Chiropractor. Dr. Sofos is motivated and resourceful which makes him a natural leader for our team at Carmel. He has the ability to prioritize, manage budgets, and maintain administration records effectively, while at the same time providing compassionate chiropractic care to our patients.
Dr. Sofos earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Life Chiropractic College in Hayward, CA. He completed studies at New College of California in San Francisco and Chabot College in Hayward, CA.
Dr. Sofos previously owned and operated his own chiropractic practice. His past experience includes working with older adults and Hispanic communities. Dr. Sofos speaks conversational and medical Spanish.

Christopher Perrone, DC

Christopher Perrone, DC is the Clinical Director of our Mahopac, NY location and a Licensed Chiropractor. Dr. Perrone’s past experience in private practice is an asset to his clinical director skills. In addition to being a respected clinical leader, Dr. Perrone is a gentle chiropractor who provides individualized treatments to relieve our patients pain and effective therapies to improve their function and quality of life.
Dr. Perrone earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Life College School of Chiropractic in Marietta, GA. He completed studies at East Stroudsburg University in East Stroudsberg, PA.
Dr. Perrone is a Member of the New York Chiropractic Council and the Past President and Past Board Member of Lake Mahopac Rotary.
Dr. Perrone’s dedication to the Mahopac community is demonstrated by his past and present volunteer efforts with the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department, Greater Mahopac-Carmel Chamber of Commerce, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Putnam Children’s Discovery Center, Putnam Visitors Bureau, and Mahopac High School Interact Club.

Edward Covelli, DC
Licensed Chiropractor
Edward Covelli, DC is a Licensed Chiropractor with more than 20 years experience in the field. Dr. Covelli is Certified in Surface EMG and a Certified Fitness Instructor. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from New York Chiropractic College.
In addition to practicing chiropractics, Dr. Covelli is a sought after workshop presenter and guest lecturer. He is a professional workshop designer and writer. He also serves as an Independent Chiropractor Examiner.
Dr. Covelli is distinguished as a Diplomat of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. His second language is Italian.
